Making no more than a screenshot of his current internal dialogue, Miguel Reveriego captures his own contemporary wrapped in simplicity. Pulling together elements that have caught his eye since our initial discussion about the project, along with others that are always quite present in his personal references, Miguel creates a collective image out of a series of moments captured on his phone. Making no point to over-intellectualize an ideal, he simply embraces the moment and all that it entails. Taking the idea of conveying his own point of view on what's contemporary in the visual language to an entirely visual place, Miguel's submission is accompanied only by this simple definition:

con·tem·po·rar·y [kuhn-tem-puh-rer-ee] adjective, noun, plural -rar·ies.

  1. existing, occurring, or living at the same time; belonging to the same time: Newton's discovery of the calculus was contemporary with that of Leibniz.
  2. of about the same age or date: a Georgian table with a contemporary wig stand.
  3. of the present time; modern: a lecture on the contemporary novel.
